Getting to Galápagos, Ecuador

The Galapagos Islands can only be reached by plane from Quito or Guayaquil by TAME or Aerogal national airlines.

Getting to Isabela, Galápagos

From Baltra, Santa Cruz:

from the Baltra airport on Santa Cruz Island, you will be conducted to Puerto Ayoras (approx 1 hour at a cost of $3).

From downtown Puerto Ayoras, you may hire a boat service (locally known as ‘fibra’) to Puerto Villamil, Isabela (U$25, 2 hours). Boats leave the port daily at 2pm.

Flights available through TAME and Aerogal (25 mins).

From San Cristobal:

If your flight arrives on San Cristobal, you can choose to take a TAME or Aerogal flight to Isabela, or a boat (fibra) to Puerto Ayoras (Santa Cruz, 2 hours, $25) and a second boat from there to Puerto Villamil (Isabela, 2 hours, $25).
